General Information
Armor is the basic means to increase the defense of a player. As you level up, new armor will become available. There are 5 armor pieces for every character - the Boots, Pants, Gloves, Armor (Chest Piece), and Helmet. Approximately every 10 levels a new armor set is available for each class, in addition to Expansion Armor and Legendary Armor.

Types of Armor
- Normal armor (white) is the most common armor, and includes no enhancements.
- Magic armor (blue) contains 1-2 unique enhancements.
- Noble armor (light blue) contains 3 unique enhancements.
- Divine Noble armor (yellow) contains 4 unique enhancements.
- Legendary armor (green) is a separate armor tier and contains a specific set of properties
Each enhancement found on Magic, Noble, and Divine Noble equipment is random, and depends on the piece and the armor level. A breakdown of possible enhancements for each piece can be found on the armor page itself. See Armor Details section above.
Socketing
The Armor and Helmet pieces of your armor (as well as weapons) can be equipped with sockets (up to 4 sockets). See the Gems article for details on what gems can be placed into the sockets.
Fortification
Each piece of armor can be upgraded with the fortification system. As well as the standard increase in defense for each upgrade, the following modifiers are added to the Pants, Gloves, and Boots as they are upgraded.

Notes
- Defense does not effect the damage from Magical/Elemental Damage
